Hey fellas I put the NAPA ABS sensor in my truck today and no change. The code didn't even clear for the brake or ABS. I did the whole fix, about 15 minutes, with the negative battery cable off. What are the other possibilities? I guess I should have had the code checked first, but I was rather confident that sensor was the only problem. The no pressure at the brake pedal is still there as well. Anybody got any ideas?

Need to fix the pedal problem first. Probably blew the rear line right above the gas tank.

Sorry, the morning the light came on the pedal was fine. I posted about the light and that afternoon when I got off work the pedal gives me no pressure. I just haven't reposted since then with the new symptom. Sorry about the confusion. Brake line above the gas tank? I'll check that out and see what the deal is. Thanks fellas!

I checked the brake line the runs down the driver side of the truck inside the frame rail. I'm not leaking fluid, everything is still bolted in place and there are no kinks or bends in the line. Every line on the rear axle looked fine. Any other ideas?

If you have a pedal with excessive travel, and no obvious signs of leaking, I would start looking real hard at the master cylinder.

See any evidence of fluid dripping out of the drums by any chance?

+1, my next course of action would be to remove the drums and check the WC's.

I haven't seen a loss of brake fluid, but I haven't taken the drums off yet either. I'll have to get to that soon. Is it possible that a plunger slipped off? She's not my daily driver so it will probably have to wait to the weekend. I just don't understand why the ABS and BRAKE lights are on. Also, I can't get a parts store around here to check my ABS or BRAKE light. They say their scanner only reads CEL. I don't know if I believe that or not as the PCM reports all codes, correct?

Brake lite coming on is usually because one of the brake circuits has failed, and the proportioning valve has closed off that circuit. (not very effectively mind you.....) It will also come on with the ABS lite, for whatever reason. ABS lite comes on when it sees a problem, either weird inputs, be they erratic, or just out of range for what the PCM THINKS it should be seeing... and a host of other fun conditions if you have 4wal. Both being on together isn't unusual.

The biggest problem is, the brake pedal... Need to find out why that is funky, and fix that issue FIRST. Might just solve the lite problem.
