165,000 miles on the clock. Using 10w30 dino oil. The truck was not really well maintained by the previous owner either......

While messing around with the snap on scanner, I realized that my warm oil pressure drops to 7psi all the time as I come up to a stop sign. I assume I have worn internals and am plannin a rebuild in the summer. Just read the posts by HeyYou and wondered if I could hear more about the oil pump swap...
Oil pump swap was easy. Took me about two hours, working in my driveway..... I installed a high volume pump, simply because of the high mileage. I am very pleased with the results.

alright, I will attempt the oil pump swap then, ...the truck is a 2wd not 4x4, but I can probably figure it out if I follow the Chilton guide.
