I think you wasted money on the fuel pump....

Open the hood, pull the cover off of the PDC (power distribution center, black box right behind the battery) and swap the asd relay with the wiper relay. See if anything new and different happens.

Do the other gauges work?

Need to find out what you are missing, spark, or fuel.

yes the other gauges work, when changing the old pump i noticed that the board for the float looked burnt, or worn out over time so i thought the new pump assembly should work, another thing i cant hear the pump come on, can you usually hear the pumps or are they usually quiet, i have never paid attention to it before, I can however hear the relay click on after i turn the key

If I am standing next to the gas cap, with the cap off.... and someone else turning the key, I can hear it. But, my hearing isn't the best anyway..... Grab a friend, have them turn the key while you listen. See what happens.

Did you try swapping the fuel pump relay as well?

at ignition on, the pump should come on for 3 seconds? or so, then turn off if there is no engine-rrunning signal from the crank position sensor. it should make a whining noise that you can hear. the right way to check the fuel pump is to check pressure at the rail with a gauge. should be about 49 psi. a low tech way is to depress the schrader valve and if fuel squirts out at 49 psi and hits you in the eyeball, then its good. cover the port with a rag, catch any spill, do not smoke!!!

there is a MAIN fuse in there somewhere. might be called fusible link. also an IOD that's important.
