Love the forum, I got a 99 club cab I think that is what you call it and the passenger rear door will not open. I took the door handle out and the panel to have better access. The top pin works great but the bottom one is not releasing. I have pried on the lock itself, soaked it in PB Blaster as well as the bottom of the door just above the rocker panel. Any idea's on how to get the bottom to release?

I have been at this for 3 days now and I was going to bend the bottom of the door up but then I thought I better not.

Also anyway to adjust the passing gear cable?

Thanks BIGBIRD, I just got this truck and the tranny shifts nice and hard but it wants to keep shifting in and out of second to third even at slow speeds so I figure I will adjust the cable first to see if that corrects the problem.

do a search for rear quad door. the club cab dose not have rear doors.

 

In this thread you will find the factory adjustment for the TV cable. Then you can follow the other thread to modify it if you wish.

And if you do a search here on DF, you will find other people with the same problem with the rear doors and maybe the solution.

Maybe thats why he cant open it...Its a Club Cab.
