i just read the DIY on the rocker arm replacement. can it be just that easy? what about valve adjustment? im fixing to replace the stovk VC's and thought i would change to the roller rockers at that time.

Those are the non-adjustable type, and yes, it really is that easy. Follow the procedure, and you are all set.
Stock I think is 1.6.... not 100% sure on that...... 1.7s will give your cam more lift, but, won't change duration, or overlap. Gives a bit more power throughout the RPM range. Also pretty computer friendly. Easy way to squeak a bit more power out of the engine.

With the HS 1.7 non-adjustables, there's no valve lash adjustments. Can reuse stock push rods, and they fit under the stock valve covers. It really is that easy. They give around 20 hp gain or so.
