Default Rusted Hitch Suggestions

I have been re-working a Ram I purchased about 2 month's ago. Today I decided to tackle the hitch on the rear. The PO never removed the receiver from the hitch while he had it and it is now rusted in. I have been spraying it with PB Blaster on and off for about 3 weeks. Today I dropped the spare and got behind the hitch with a square piece of steel and a 10lb sledge. I beat on it for about 30 minutes and it would not budge. After that I got the torches out, heated it up and got behind it again for about 20 minutes, no luck. I am trying to avoid dropping the hitch. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thought about that but with my luck I would pull the tree down on the truck and become a you tube funny.

LOL yeah, I have the same problem and was going to do just that. But instead of worrying about the , I thought the tranny would be laying on the ground.

If you lived a lil closer we could play "tug-o-war" at least one of us would get the receiver out while the other would have ding in the tailgate or lose a rear window.

Meant to say worrying about the "tree" in my other post. I'll use the Bobcat come spring.

I'd use a BF dead blow hammer and a series of whacks in every axis if it were mine to do. It's worked for me every time I've tried it, anyway.
