Default Diff Between Sport Models and Base?

All-
This question has been bugging me. Besides the fact of the painted bumpers and the driving lights. What is truly the differance between base and Spor models? I have seen a few threads of rear ends being different. But is there any thing out there that says what a sport gets that the other models do not? Thanks

The front of the truck does not have a bumper it has a color coded facia. A sport model also has the overhead map lights w/ storage. The sport also has 4 way headlighs.

This should take care of anything you should have Q's with about a Sport, I own one and this is my Rap sheet...and it does have a solid front bumper on it just has the facia over it, has rolled tubing at both ends, had to take a double look when i crawled under, as for lift, I have BF 265's and it sits up nice(its OFF Road too), a friend had the smaller tires, noticable difference, but frame lift is about the same, he just has more fender well showing...

Thanks...We have many of the same options. I knew that about the front bumper too. I had to check when i got the truck. The few things between a 99 and my 97 i noticed are.

> Power Heated Mirrors, Fold-Away
> Power Windows, Driver One-Touch (Mine does not have the one touch)

Is yours a ext cab? I did not see that and if so does it have the third door.
97's did not have the 3rd door I think those started in 98.

Thanks for showing your spread sheet..And do you remember the email addess you sent away too to ask for that?

To my understanding the offroad package is the skid plates( Xfer Case Plate, Fuel plate and one other )under your truck and the front tow hooks...I am not sure if thats the whole package or Just some of it.

Mine doesnt have skid plates-tow hooks (but it can pull stumps just the same), must be an additional part of an Off Road Package i dont have, as for the address, I think its posted somewhere in these forums, cant remember where, maybe steve00ram360 can give it to you, and mine is a Standard Cab, my kids are grown so im not really in the need for a bigger truck, although I miss my 4 door
