I'd have to agree, thats not 5 feet of snow. If what is shown in any of the pictures there is all you got, thats not 5 feet. The piles that people pushed up look like they may have got to 5 feet or so. Definitely not 5 feet in the picture with the car.

BTW your gonna tell me that that little green two door in your last picture got anywhere soon? I don't think so.
Meh, he may have drove out of there with it. I've seen FWD cars out here do OK on the main roads with a little accumulation like he has there, especially if they drive through a little bit of snow in front of the car into a plowed parking lot or road. Where they get stuck is when the roads aren't plowed at all, especially when there's a layer of ice under the snow.

Thats playing snow for me and my truck, where as I'd NEVER try and drive a car thru that till the roads are plowed.
Uh yeah, we definitely got 5 feet of snow. Actually, 4'11 officially. Record snowfall this year.

Yes, there may be 5 foot of snow on the grass, but there isnt 5 feet of snow in that parking lot. If there was, it would be up around the windows of your Acura.

I believe that you drove around in that, though. The biggest disadvantage of a car in snow is the ground clearance. Its real easy to high center a car in snow. Other than that, they do great.

I can have more fun in my RWD truck though.

Because I have two Dodge Rams? Seems like a good enough reason to me.

4'11" for the MONTH. Not in one snowstorm, or on the ground there in your pictures. Quote unquote from your link, "leaving behind more than a foot in several towns." A single foot?

Once in December and once in January, my city got 3 feet in one 24 hour period. That is not as much as some places in Minnesota, or other areas of the midwest, but enough to make my point. Until they plowed out a street, FWD cars (or RWDs) were stuck where they were at. Many had to be towed out of the ditch on the interstate, as well, by 4x4s.

Careful now, that first part is bordering a personal attack.

AS far as the original poster. The Cummins engine in the dodge has shown to be a rock solid engine, If properly maintained. The manual transmissions do there jobs without to much for problems. If it has an automatic, the 47-48re are a much improved auto over the other auto's offered.

If the truck is maintained and a carafax comes back clean, along with being a reasonable price, If you find a truck like that you've got an awesome truck.

Funny how brave people are on the interweb. Where I come from, had you said these two sentences, you would be beaten to a bloody pulp. If this lack of respect for others is the standard where you live, I'll take my little town in the great state of Texas any day.

I've read quite a few of your posts and can tell you why many people disagree with you on so many fronts: your often immature, goading tone combined with an "I know everything" argument style. Honestly, you act like a lot of the information you present in this forum is the Word of Gawd, and to question it is sacrilege.
