Ok well I dont wanna do this half assed so Ill get the new carrier for the 4.88s. I only need a new carrier for the front though, correct? and the whole "shaving" a new piece of expesnive metal... not diggin it
IMO, gears are not an area I would opt to do questionable things for the sake of monetary savings. It might work with a thick 4.88 and the 3.55 carrier, but I think I would always opt to change the carrier if I where doing it. That's just me though, i'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. It obviously works as proven by 94Beater.
No, I appreciate everyones help, but I think im just gonna go with a new carrier just to be safe, first time doing gears and im just a kid so money is tough haha. Im not doin it myself though...and just one carrier for the front is better than havin to buy two I guess.
Or not haha, ive looked into all that stuff but like I said im just a kid and moneys tight. But Im not a stupid kid that just goes with the first thing or price he sees or hears haha.
