havs anyone tried contacting them lately? ive tried twice, and both times i was told that the tech was out and i left my info and never got a call back. its starting to get real annoying because i want to get some info on some of their cams because im getting ready to purchase a cam.

 

Maybe try emailing them? Did you ask when the tech would be back? Wonder if he is on vacation for a week......

When I'm down from Georgia and in Florida, I'm only about 3 miles from the shop. I've ridden past there and stopped about half a dozen times to talk with the "new" crew. I have yet to find the door unlocked or anyone there.

Once I had 'Weedahoe call and talk to them (and someone did answer) while I was banging at the front door (lights were out). I'm guessing the phone is forwarded to someplace else. There was also a very cheazy, hand written sign taped on the front door on an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper with the new name on it.

Marty stopped over my place about a month or so ago just to say hello. We talked quite a bit about how his old shop was going. Seems the new guys know there sh*t pretty well, but are more into other activities than working at the shop...

 

its pretty stupid that i cant even get info on their cams. i guess ill just buy a cam through summit. if they want to stay open they need to return phone calls. theyre losing a ton of business by not returning phone calls.

 

well i finally heard from them.... im going to be going with their 210x cam, they offer an sct included with the cam for 649 plus like 18 for shipping. their sct is 299 with unlimited custom tunes. should i go that route, or should i get the sct from hemifever?

 

See how much they will sell you just the cam for. If you can wind up cheaper with a hemifever tune, sounds like a plan to me.

 

well the cam alone is 349 plus shipping. so for an additional 299, id go with krc, but with hemifevers rep id go with him for the extra 65 or so dollars he charges.

 

summit also has this cam, which i believe is the same as krc's 210x if im not mistaken, and its 30 dollars cheaper.

 

This company has scammed my son out of several hundred dollars of parts they didn't ship and refuse to send him new tunes. They don't return calls or answer emails. Does anyone have additional contact information from them. I have a sinking feeling they are going under.
