Thanks, but I have already broke down and bought the one one Hughes Engines. Got what I needed all together, just need to figure out how adjust my Torque wrench to the settings they recommend. My torque wrench only reads Foot pounds, i don't see Inch pounds on it.

I feel like such an amateur on that, lol.

Probably need a smaller toque wrench. I used a 3/8ths drive unit. 20-150 INCH pounds. Worked great.

After my plenum, noticed that the ping when I punched it went away, and I am no longer going through oil. MPG remained relativity the same... sad day, was hoping for a bump up, oh well

Give it a bit more time. PCM needs to relearn the engine.

Did you replace your O2 sensor? (front)

I got it all put together, and it runs. but it runs kinda crappy. I did change the distributer
cap and rotor, and wires and plugs. runs good in park, but hesitates and sounds like it misses when i put it in gear.

Maybe I have miss aligned the wires? .... i don't see how. I took one off and put one
on as I went along. What else could be my problem?

All your injector plugs plugged in all the way? Mine did the same thing then through out a CEL and I just hadn't plugged in one of the plugs all the way and wasn't making good connection.

If your truck is high mileage (100K, or in that neighborhood) it's time to replace it in any event. On these trucks though, with a blown plenum allowing the engine to burn oil.... it fouls the sensors pretty quickly.
