Source gaskets, coolant, oil, filter, and suchlike locally. Fel-pro gaskets please.
Any idea what brand gaskets come with the hughes kit?

I just bought the plate from them, and got my own gaskets, it was actually cheaper..... (of course, I get a good discount at my local parts store..... I spend enough money there, everyone knows me by name.....)

Someone from hughesengines.com actually responded to an email (rather quickly too).

"Me: I recently ordered the Plenum Repair Kit. Should've asked the before I ordered...But, what type of gaskets are included in the kit (i.e., fel-pro)?

Thanks

Repsonse: The brand of gaskets that are used in the kit are Victor Reinz. As a side note, the better sealing properties come from the aluminum plate, since it distributes the clamping force better than the Tin stock one.

Thank you for your interest!"

When I bought mine I looked at Hughes and APS, then I looked at our ebay seller. Our seller was cheaper for me since I was going to a shop to get it done.

Ive done my plenum plate/gasket fix. I just havent been able to drive it much yet to see if there's any difference because of all my drivetrain problems. Hoping to get it fixed early next week!
