Default Surging when coming to a stop

My truck has an annoying habit of surging when coming to a slow stop. It doesn't do it during a hard or quick stop. I don't see the tach jump, nor do I feel anything in the brake pedal, but I can definitely feel the whole truck surging. Like someone is pushing the brake harder and releasing or the torque converter is dragging. No abs light, no check engine lights. New rotors, pads, drums, and shoes. I'm at a loss.

it could possibly be your transmission governor pressure transducer or solenoid- and what you are feeling is a shift into second gear..

Possibly, but its a pulsing, meaning it happens repeatedly while slowing down. A shift would only happen once, correct?

.......New rotors, pads, drums, and shoes......

as a transmission test, shift into neutral before stopping and see if it acts any different.

Just because they are new, does not necessarily imply they aren't warped. It got to the point where I would cut new drums/rotors as a matter of policy, since I hated doing the same job twice, but only getting paid once....... Too many were warped right off the shelf.

I agree with the drums being screwed up, or you may have an internal hemerage in one of the rubber brake hoses. When you push brake pedal your pumping fluid to the caliper pistons, and when you realease the brake pedal all the brake fluid gets sucked back up. With a piece of rubber on the inside of the hose (over time it happens) it will flip up the rubber making it a one way check valve causing your vehicle to surge.
