I take back what I said earlier, electric cars will not have black in there pipes....if they even have a tailpipe
LOL, 100% electric cars wouldn't, but it stands to reason that the hybrids of today would have the black residue..... they use a 4-cycle 3 cylinder engine for power at... uh, 35+ I believe, and to recharge the batteries when they get low.
When I put my headers on the pipes were white all the way to cat. I thought something was wrong with my truck. My Gpa said back in the day you knew it was running good when the pipes were white. You can't even wipe black soot out my tips they stay so clean.
Yea I disconnected the battery an started lookin at the wiring afterwards the connector is suppose to clip in right? An mine kinda jus slides in an doesn't clip and It comes right off
