Dual Exhaust
Backpressure is never a good thing, and a cat is simply a restriction in the pipe. Its more about proper pipe sizing for your intended operating range, and a good set of headers. A well thought out dual exhaust, with no cat, will perform better, than any system with a cat.
Cat's are expensive also. They don't last forever. My truck has a little over 150,000 miles on it and I'd really rather not pay for another one if/when it gets clogged. My whole exhaust system (pipe, mufflers, tips) is going to be around $225. Don't really need stainless in FL
the spacer im talking about basically pulls the o2 sensor about an inch or two away from the pipe kinda like tricking it to believe that there is a clean reading coming from where the cat should be.
Spark Plug non-foulers. Requires 2. Drill one of 'em out, so the sensor will pass thru it, thread it into another one, that just has the little hole on the end, and screw THAT into the bung on the exhaust. End of Problem.
SPINTECH.....IF they can make a LS6 sound good. Can make a 360-408 sound BA.

Got mine done today! He used 2 1/4' pipe and I guess he forgot I wanted them straight out the back and ran them out @ 45*. O well I like it either way. I LOVE the way it sounds. Gotta be honest though it is WAY louder than I thought it would be. My girlfriend was about 1/2 mile behind me on the way home and called me to tell me the truck was loud when I passed a car
. She couldn't even see me just heard it! I may have to quiet it down a little- maybe use 18 or 24' glasspacks instead of 12's. I'll drive it for a while and see how many times I get pulled over then decide lol. BTW no check engine light yet. Both the O2's are right in the pipe. I have the non foulers just in case though.
