Cant connect to OBD port

Default Cant connect to OBD port

i fixed my fuel code went to rest it scann tools cant connect
have power on pin 16
all connection are good

Check your scanner to make sure its not busted.

Others here have had this issue, some were able to remedy it by pushing in the back of the port while trying to connect. Sometimes the pins become loose and when you try and hook up they back out.

just went and tryed pushung the back of the plug still no connection

Isn't there another port under the hood somewhere? I remember someone telling me there are always two

Nope. Only one. Ford has their connectors under the hood. (at least, they used to....)

Reset the PCM by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. Try your scanner again.

i have tryed to disco battery 12 hr no change
also dico the plug on the ecm no change

where and how is the ecm grounded
