Default Hydrogen Kit - HHO kits

I searched Hydrogen kits and nothing came up. So i was wondering if any one has bought one or made one? If so do they work at all?

Your taking about water injection correct? Aren't those designed for turbo/supercharged motors to bring combustion temps down?

To a small degree they work but for a large motor like in our trucks not really. The amount of energy it takes to run the hho reactor is prohibitive and because of such only a small fraction of the hydrogen, o2, needed to run a v8 is produce able. When weighed against the cost of building and maintaining the system, as well a the probable cost that would be incurred when the system failed, hho is currently not worth it. So it you are looking at it as a fuel replacement method then no it wont be your cup of tea, where as if you are looking at it a something interest and fun to try hho can be fun. Now I am not saying that hho wont net you a few miles, the large displacement of our engines would require more hydrogen then can be produced by one reactor. Multiple reactors can be made to up production but each on requires a large amount of power to run. hho is not currently suitable for a large engine, now if you outfitted a smaller engine say a 4 cylinder or even a 3 cylinder you would definitely see a difference.

Word of warning make sure you have a good idea what you are doing before you mess with hho. hho IS VERY EXPLOSIVE! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-1wVDkK6mU&NR=1

ya hho can be explosive but that is why there are safety equipment that is suppose to be installed like bubbler, flashback arrester and a check valve or blow off valve so you don't have problems like in that video. i think hho could make a bit of a difference but i think you would have to modify some of the electrical like the o2 sensor signal so that it would run a bit leaner or else with the hho your computer may think your engine is running to lean and dump more fuel in.

Because it requires more energy to break down water, than you get back out of it by burning it in your engine. You will end up spending MORE, than you would if you just bought gasoline.

So the whole hho systems are junk don't work one bit... then why is that when it is put into a car the fuel economy goes up 10-15 mpg. And I never said it was a economic fuel replacement. There is enough excess juice floating around a cars chargeing system to power a reactor, it may not be enough to get the reactor to run the car but it is enough to off set the fuel economy.

And if that BS actually worked, automakers would be installing it on the assembly line.

Think about it. This ranks right up there with the Acetone myth.

Never heard of the acetone myth. So an industry that is in bed with the oil industry is going to make a device that will detract from the others profability... ok. As well as the fact that one oopsy and your car explodes that would be like selling a car that explodes when it gets rear-ended... wait scratch that LOL.
