Ahhhhh nvm I see.. The overload spring is the flat one.. The aal goes on top of that one making it the 2nd spring from the bottom. I read your reply wrong and I was looking at it better and now I know. Thank You
Ok well after looking at my truck and everything im gonna install the lift kit this sat ONLY because I have to work sat and I work at a dealership and I can use a lift so that will help a TON! plus after looking at teh setup it shouldnt be that hard to do. Now SHOULD I buy new u-bolts or re-use the old ones? I know most to all will say new but ive been looking around for new ones and the only way I can get new u bolts is to have some bent up and the local shop wants around $100 for all 4 which seems kind of steep but if I have to ill have to spend the $100 for them.
AHHHHHH CRAP!!! I just noticed this on Tuff Country's website... "Dodge Ram 2500/3500 with factory contact overloads require u-bolt part # 37755" .... Maybe I should read better before I order stuff lol
How much are the u-bolts (plus shipping....) from them? If you can get 'em made up for around the same price, go that route, if they are significantly cheaper from the website, order 'em up, and put rush shipping on them, so you will have them by saturday.
They are only about $3-$4 cheaper....What if I were to take off the 2 upper helper/Aux springs and keep them off? That should give me the additional length I need? If not ill just get the ones bent up. Plus they said they were out of stock and it would take around 2-3 weeks to get them if I ordered from Tuff Country
