only half the bumpstop is on the frame, the other part should be on the block, between the axle, and spring...... I can take a pic of my 96 if ya like. (provided my daughter hasn't ran off with it.......)

Just use grade 8 bolts for the center bolt. Those are probaly helper springs on top.

On another note You always need to replace your u bolts anyway and I've never seen an aal you reuse stock ubolts. Mine are like an inch tall.

so basically I should go and have sme new ones bent up that are like 1-2 inches longer then the stock ones?

Yep that's what you do. I don't think auto part stores sell 3" u bolts. You can go look cause they will certainly be cheaper. I think the ones I had bent were 60 and autozone had a set for 20.

I meant 3" wide. Go to a spring shop and have them bend you some 19" ubolts. It'll take like 2 minutes for them to do. It took me longer to pay than it did for the guy to bend them lol.
