I have been looking and reading about many different CAI systems and then i came across this one and really caught my eye. Thought id come on here and ask your guys opinion. http://www.jegs.com/i/Spectre/865/9859K/10002/-1

Not really a cold air system, as both filters are in the nice, toasty warm, engine compartment. Also not sure if you would have room to install the drivers side filter.......

Spectre unit seems pretty popular. (and a lot less expensive too.....)

i run a k&n cai, its a pretty nice setup except it was pretty pricey, like hey you said spectre is cheaper than the others, but i think the k&n is the way to go.

Volant or S&B. Otherwise go with a 14x3.

i know this is probly stupid but whats a 14x3? the throttle body?

14x3 is a round filter, reminiscent of the older carburated intake types. Pic below:

Throttle body is the thing the intake system bolts (er...screws) onto. Heres half a pic, only shows one of the bores, but you get the gist of it:

man a had great luck with the free 50mm tb mod, i nicknamed the poorman

it will help any intake mod 14x3 or cold air intake

well i was thinkin about doing a 2x52 holley tb and then maybe a spectre CAI
