Truck stalled, won't restart.
2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 3.9 V-6, was running fine. Stopped dead on the highway, like all fuel was cut off, will not restart. Has spark and normal fuel pressure. Code P0320 is present, nothing else. Tried swapping in known good crank sensor and cam sensor, no go. Spark seems normal, distributor turns normally. I'm thinking bad PCM, anybody have any other input?
where did you look for spark? at the end of the plug wire or at the coil?
The code would indicate a bad CKPS. Did you use a dealer purchased CKPS when you swapped them?
I'd personally start by checking every ground for good integrity..
sorry dude- this sucks huh?

If you are getting spark, the 0320 code makes no sense at all. That's the PCM whining about no crank reference signal...... so, it shouldn't be firing the coil at all.
Check the wiring for the crank sensor. If the wiring looks ok, and a known good sensor doesn't fix it..... probably is a PCM issue.

I had spark both off the coil and at the plugs. I was using a "known good" OEM part when I swapped it. There are no obvious wiring problems, but I haven't torn the whole harness apart. All the engine grounds are in place and clean. Timing marks seem to line up at TDC so I don't think it's a timing issue.
can anyone say fuel pump crank sensor is a good one or asd relay which will shut it down these are the most common jumper the asd first check fuel pressure then crank sensor
