Is My starting Issue ECM or PCM
I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.2 Liter. Now to the Problem I purchased this Dodge (I love Dodge truck and I saved it from an Abusive owner) not running it turns over and at first sounded like it wasn't getting spark. I have since pulled all the plugs which were 5.9 plugs it now has plugs for a 5.2. It has good spark but now to the real problem. First time you try to start the truck it sounds like it wants to go but it gets flooded almost immediately and then it will almost turn over with the Throttle held open. I have checked everything i am down to believing it is a computer issue and need someone that has had this issue or knows how the computers work on this truck. Any help would be amazing!!!!!!!

Can you list what all you have tried?
If you know you are getting a good spark, and you have checked the fuel pressure and it is 49psi +/- 5psi, then air is the last component. Try pulling the throttle body off the engine, remove those sensors and clean the entire tb with carb cleaner, paying special attention to the back where the iac port is.
Start there and let us know what you find.

Throttle body has been pulled cleaned and all electrical connections cleaned up. I have also checked fuel pressure and it has good fuel pressure at the fuel rail and we have pulled the injectors and made sure they were clean and made sure they were firing none of this changed anything truck still first time will try but flood out.
