My dodge restoration!
Windshield finaly in did a good job just very slow. I know for a fact my plenum is bad and has a vacum leak there...
When i get that replaced i will have the mechanics flush my tranny fluid, redo oil, oil filter, new antifreeze ect ect...
I am workin 14hrs/13hrs a day not to much time to do anything but sleep and work now. poor truck

WEll my friend told me to flush it because i dont know when they last changed it. and he told me to then change it every 3 oil changes he is a master mechanic that works on high end audi's lol he hates workin on vehicles when he gets home but he is a smart tool to have when questions come up! I have no idea when last owner changed the tranny fluid thats why i want it flushed. I have a very good idea what to do on the air brushing that i will hire someone to do around here.
Not knowing the last time is was changed is a good reason NOT to flush it. If you have the correct equipment, that does NOT flow the trans fluid backwards.... to clean it out, it might be ok. But, doing a reverse flow flush is a good way to kill your trans.
These are not high end trucks, and do not get the maintenance that some of the more expensive cars do.....

Master tech with a fancy flush machine, or a 17 year old with a garden hose...either way on a 15 year old tempermental tranny, chances are flushing it you will get problems..good luck with the truck though, the more things you do to it to make it better, the more satisfaction you get!

Would a failing fuel pressure regulator be a cause of hard starting? it always starts up on 2nd try after cranking it over... starter good, alternator good, only thing i can think of is fuel system.... Any ideas?
