it's the wheel on the pic the dude gave.. i blew it up and made it as clear as I could to show the center cap.. I'm not familiar with them, I was hoping somebody else was..

dhvaughan- me and that fox still see each other from time to time.. he still lives behind my house.. I managed to get him in my sights one night, and almost touched the trigger.. but i didn't.. it occurred to me he may be keeping the rodent population a bay.. if so, he's alright.. and I'll let him hang around.. so long as he doesn't bang my do any more.. :-)

I work at a scrap yard. I have seen 2nd generation 3/4 tons with a 318 engine before. They had 2500 on the door, 8 lug wheels, and a 318 engine with 5.2 liter designated on the EPA sticker under the hood. Didn't believe Dodge made a 3/4 ton with a 318 until I saw it myself. Don't really understand why they did, either. Big truck need big motor. Anyway, to the OP: I'd think the drivetrain should be pretty stout. The motor should hold up if it's in good mechanical shape to begin with, but it's gonna have to work a little harder than the big block Chevy to pull that heavy truck around with a trailer, obviously.

I was trying my damndist.. :-)

are the 8 lug faux or do they really have 8 lugs? I'm curious about your truck.. because, if it is real- then I may have made an *** of myself some time back telling a fella his 3/4 wasn't a 3/4 but a 1/2, as putting 2500 badges on it wasn't all there was to it.. for pretty much the same reasons spoken here so far.. engine, wheels.. the axle was definitely a 9.25 Corporate.. I'll have to find him and apologize if so..

what year is the truck, what is the weight rating on the door sticker, and what axle is under the rear?

Axel 9.25 It also says 3.5 axel ratio on the sticker under the hood.

Hey guys, whenever I add a picture to this forum it makes me take out the old one from an old post so I can add one to a new post. What a screwy system. Am I doing something wrong?

Nope, you are not doing anything wrong, just the galleries here are tiny. Upload your pics to photobucket, and then do a direct link here. (image tags.)

That is a light duty 3/4 ton.
