Default more tranny problems

o i know this is in here somewhere but i cant find it.. my transmission shifts funny.. when you take off from a dead stop it seems to jump back and fourth through the first 2 gears and again in third. also it never seemed to shift into to overdrive, i would be traveling down the road at 55 and running close to 2600 rpms. so one day i turned off the od drive button and it shifted and dropped rpms about 300.. any body have any ideas? what should i do.. the truck sits on 35s and i was told it has 4.10s

Could be a number of things..... from just being low on fluid, to have sensor/solenoid issues. Also, I would verify what gears ya got in there.....

I'd start with a fluid and filter. My Gpa always told me if they say they did but don't have a receipt for it it never happened.

Maybe someone removed the check valve already. Might wanna check and see. Should be on the line that feeds into the bottom fitting on the radiator. If it isn't there, that is a GOOD thing. If it is, get rid of it.
