Hi guys, well while back had shifting issues, replaced the soleniods and such in tranny, fixed problem. last week was driving with wifey, and it started dumping tranny fluid out the front of tranny, drove her home, while keeping fluids filled. shifted fine still. Was told tranny was junk, ha ha. was looking to rebuild, but nothing on the magnet or pan, little bit shavings, normal looking. anyone know what it could be. I got tranny out, need to know where to go from here. never done tranny. bout the only thing. Overdrive case is broke, I didn't do it. Was told bad yoke caused it. Can I get a tranny from another year or model dodge to bolt right up. case on top of tranny looks like its cracked too. What you all think? need some help here.

u could put a manual in it.. 5speed nv3500 or nv4500

 

Most likely it's the 46re trans. Trans pump could have taken a dump. Leaking fluid fun the front usually isn't a good sign, and if the OD housing is also cracked , bite the bullet and get a reman.

I didnt use them i rebuilt mine. A friend's daughter has their tranny in her 95 same deal.
She has had no issues with it in the last year.

you could just buy the kit form patc and have someone else install it local shop or sumthing, i mean its like wat 2200$? to send them ur trans and them install a 800$ kit????? i got a buddy his dad rebuilds trans now since he retired and his labor is 150$. u just buy the kit for it.
