Pics where out of date, so was just wanting a few pics(im a visual person). Haven't decided if im going the test port route or inline yet.. Either way the check valve will be gone shortly.

Inline as close to tranny as possible is better(more accurate) than a test port. And the link I'm talking about is the inline manifold "T". I don't what outdated pics you are talking about.

Here is a pic of an autometer electric gauge and single pod. I put the 1/8" npt sensor in the diagnostic port on the side of the trans. Average driving in the city I see 180-200 and about 160 down the freeway.
I have the trans lines going from the trans to remote filter to after-market cooler then back to trans.

All the pods I can find are 2003 and newer. Will this one shown fit a 99? What brand and where is it available? I bought a temp gauge for my transmission due to the $ and the time I put into it but struggling about where I was going to mount gauge.
