Thanks Zman Pics where out of date, so was just wanting a few pics(im a visual person). Haven't decided if im going the test port route or inline yet.. Either way the check valve will be gone shortly.

Inline as close to tranny as possible is better(more accurate) than a test port. And the link I'm talking about is the inline manifold "T". I don't what outdated pics you are talking about.

tahnks! Still trying to decided on a location for temp. It gets cold here in winter so im thinking if i put it in place of the check valve i will get bad readings...

All the pods I can find are 2003 and newer. Will this one shown fit a 99? What brand and where is it available? I bought a temp gauge for my transmission due to the $ and the time I put into it but struggling about where I was going to mount gauge.

The only thing that sucks about that one is that it goes over the stock column bezel. It doesn't look that clean. I ended up selling mine.
