Gotta ditch the majority of the drop hangar then its gonna be great! I already applied some pressure with the jack and got some give so I think the spring rate will be about perfect! Getting so stoked about this!

Have a need to decrease the height of the front hanger by 2 inches and I will be almost dead nuts on my caster, set up my new tire for reference. Looks like compensating from spring compression and the added height of having the axle under there, I should be sitting about 2.5 inches higher than in the pic! Gonna be 1 bad lookin ram!

I'm waiting for the pics with the truck sitting on the tires.

That is a hell of a conversion, again... Keep at it!

Well front box tube crossmember is complete, the outer plate for the hanger will mount to the very outside of the crossmember on both sides. Came out dead nutts perfect. The big arrow is the center point of the perc, to give me 32 inches. The smaller arrows are the location of the inner hanger plates. All 1/4 inch wall with combo of 1/4 and 1/8 reinforcement. This thing will be military grade!

Grainy end of the night pic, just set the tire there to get a feel gonna be a few inches higher. Welding about done, just have to cut off pass side spring cup, and fab shock towers. Shouldn't be long now. Chek bak in the morning!

Make sure those welds are solid, there's a video on YouTube (can't seem to find it) where a chevy or gmc had a lift like this. He guns it and the rear axle breaks off and rolls up to the front tires. Something to think about if you are considering half assing anything lol. Goodluck and it looks great!

thank you for looking out, but there is no half assing there, lots of very good welds directly to frame crossmember. i feel really good about the lift, making sure to make everything crazy strong since the trucks so heavy.

about to go back to the shop now and get back after it!
