When I turn the heat on the ac clutch stays engaged, ideas?

Blower motor moves air. That's it. Doesn't matter what is happening downstream. Vents and such direct the air. When you turn the fan on, doesn't matter where the vents are directed (aside from "Off"....), the fan should still run at the selected speed.
What exactly is the problem you are chasing here? Does air not blow out the defroster vents? Or, is it just not as warm as you think it should be?

None down there, I got my ac clutch replaced by a reputable family friend mechanic. I searched the fsm and according to the fsm it is the feet vents switch but I can not figure out where it goes and the fsm doesn't say.
My heat doesn't work at all, it comes out at about 75 degrees at the warmest.
Well I can't get the ac clutch to disengage with any moving of the *****. I don't think this matters though.
