Default Heater issues ????

for some reason when my winshild fogs when raining and i turn the heater on it blows but does not get hot or defog the window. Heater core does not leak that i can see. did pressure test only leak was intake. fixed that.

Flush the radiator, check "heater treaters" website, and make sure the input and output hoses from the radiator core get hot.

Definitely check core. Remove glove box and reach your hand up there. It should be piping hot. If it is then it might be your blend door motor. Mine went a few years ago.

That's a good test I've never heard about, I believe my blend door is bad but didn't feel like ordering/installing to find out my heat doesnt work. I know I'm a little lazy

Do you get a film on your windshield as well? If so, it's your heater core.

96 has cable operated blend door. HeaterTreater won't work for him.

my sig is the right truck. sorry I had a 96 dodge too but sold it 2001 dodge ram is has the heat issue thanks for the help
