Just replaces the vacuum system. (locks the passenger side axles together when you pull the cable, rather than when vacuum attempts to.) Also gives you the option of 2wd low..... Put the t-case in 4Lo, but, don't lock the CAD.....

Ya I'd do that before replacing the cad or vacuum system, I hate whoever decided to put vacuum controlled 4x4 on a truck that was actually meant for off road

Its the reason you dont heve to get out and lock your hubs to use 4wd.

I wouldn't mind if I had true lockers, but that's from a 17 year old kid who doesn't mind getting dirty if it'll get him out of the hole lol

Oh and i was talking about vacuum operated 4x4 vs cable, cable just seems way more pratical to me

That can get ripped off or damaged just as easy as the vac system can.

Well I want a full skid plate under my truck and nothing will get ripped off do you think I can buy military grade humvees? Or maybe just a tank, those have full skid plates right?

And I'd like to have a skid plate on my 4x2 but while it's possible it dang sure isn't gonna be easy
