Default 4x4 vacuum lines

I have a 2001 1500 4x4 and one of the hard plastic vacuum lines from the transfer case to the steel line is broken. I have temporarily fixed it with vacuum hose. Does anyone know where to buy the hard plastic vacuum line? I have searched the internet and found only the steel lines.

Your rubber repair line is actually more durable than the plastic line that broke. If it works, don't fix it.

If you really want those hard plastic lines, the dealer's got 'em. I don't know what they retail for, but a year ago when I bought mine the jobber price was just shy of fifty bucks.

you need a welder and a hacksaw/cutoff wheel/sawzall
1. you disasembel the CAD assembly.
2. cut off the vaccum acctuator
3. weld a long enough thick enough rod to the actuator arm(the part the fork goes on)
4. weld a handle on the end of the arm that is outside the assembly
5. reassemble CAD
6. drill a hole for a retaing pin, small bolt, etc. in the locked and unlocked positions
7. reinstall CAD assembly on the axle
