Real possibility my cherry picker is older than you are. I think I bought it back in the early 80's.

THAT'S what i like to hear! Good stuff man. I drove my '72 W200 onto the trailer i towed it home with the day i handed the guy $400 bucks for it. I have gone through and replaced TONS of stuff on it (never had to mess with drivetrain hard parts, just wheel bearings, and new gear oil all around), and I've got about a $3000 dollar investment in it. It's extremely reliable, and eveything works right, minus the gas gauge. When you buy em cheap you can afford to fix them up. even on a poor man's budget! It's easy to pay $3000 for a complete pile of junk, so when the deals come, guys like us take them.

Oh, I also traded a $750 jeep cherokee for my '95 2500, and drove 250 miles home. now i've got about 2700 in it and it ain't perfect, but i sure like it!
