Default 98 ram motor and tranny swap

Well folks im well into this project I have a 98 ram 1500 2wd v-6 5-spd nv-3500 single cab short bed that I have yanked the old motor And tranny out, blown intake gasket, yanked a 318 and a nv-4500 out of a 94 dodge ram 2500. The clutch and pressure plate were bad on the 318 so I split them I got curious and split the v-6 and tranny apart to find that the previous owner put a heavy duty clutch and pressure plate in right before I got te truck they are practically brand new and are bigger than the one that came from the 318 so I'm going back in with them. So far everything looks good I broke the sensor by the flywheel on accident on the 318 but the one off of the v-6 looks good and is identical it also look brand new which is good news for me the only thing that I am wondering about is the placement of the shifter with the 318 and nv-4500 once I put them in. They will fit perfectly with no modifications to the motor mounts or tranny support the driveline is going to fit so that's my only concern. And if there is anyone in Texas that does wiring I will pay u to come help me with it ( I hate with a passion) I will keep updates if anybody wants them for there own use I will take pics in the morning thanks guys zman it would be great if you could chime in with some tips on this

You want the PCM and wiring harness from the v-8 truck as well.

The harness from the 98 is indeed going to be different than the 94. You need a harness and PCM out of a 98 or newer truck.

I'm curious too. Was it a light duty? i.e. dana 44/chrysler 9.25?
