I did not install the drain plug. I will downoad the manual now as a question how hard is it to adjust the bands also there wasn't a serious amount but how small the holes are on that filter it was a lot for it. Besides my truck has 130,000 on it and that has never been replaced nor was the fluid till recently and because of the torque converter only half the first time.

I bought mine with just over 130,000 on it and tranny was not shifting. Had to totally rebuild it as band anchor fell off and shelled out band and drum. Hopefully you caught yours early enough. The drain will make it easier to change filter without taking a tranny fluid bath.

I hope so too. I am going to adjust the bands and install and drain plug as soon as possible. And, yes the transmission bath is not recommended haha the bad thing is is that it smells fairly bad and there is no way to drain the pan without a plug and not get fluid all on you.
