LMC dash

LMC dash
I moved the baseball cap that covers up the cracks in the passenger side of my dash today and noticed the three cracks have come together to form a nice hole. LMC truck is now selling what appears to be a replacement dash, not just a cover, for about 200 bucks. It comes with the side defroster vents and the rubber flange that goes between the dash and the A pillar. It looks like a replacement rather than a cover. I talked to someone at LMC the other day and they said it is a complete dash other than the frame. I don't remember seeing a "frame" per se when I replaced the heater core. Does it have a frame under there, or does the LMC person not know what they're talking about, meaning its a 200 dollar cover? The last time I priced a replacement dash, the cheapest I found was about 500, at Geno's, I think. Anyone tried one of the 200 dollar LMC units, and is it a replacement or an expensive cover?

No, Dashskin.com only sells the plastic cap and bezel, but you can get them ordered the factory color, which was my point. With the LMC full top replacement, I think you have to get them painted separately.

Don't sass me, boy! I'm on a crackberry, search function is a pain on it. Honestly though, it is a discussion forum...but if you don't want to discuss something (LMC dash)....why even look at the thread and go to the trouble of posting humorous graphics? I did like the old guy with the headache, though.
