dual batteries
hey guys. im going to be installing a dual battery setup in my truck. i already have the right hand tray from a cummins, the batt hold down, and the + cable to go to the left battery.
my truck is an 01, and my question is this. how would i go about relocating my emissions crap that is bolted to where my right battery tray goes? i want it to look factory, and not like a pile of dog poo. thanks guys!

thanks vw, i did search, and im still seaching but have yet to find anything useful.
zman, im sorry. the opportunity came up, and i got the tray and all acc. for under 30 bucks. my lights dim WAY too much when i use my plow for my liking.
i dont want to destroy my emissions setup, and no one has any pics of there setup, and the ones that do were pre-96, so there is no emmisions stuff on the fender like mine.
again all im looking for is a way to move my emissions stuff so i can install my battery tray
no need to be sarcastic vw, but i appreciate the search pic!
oh and Z...i get a christmas bonis in the middle of december to the tune of about 500 bucks, maybe more. only reason why i love Market Baset!!

Maybe you just need a better battery, and do you know which alternator you have? My 2500 lites don't dim when I use the plow. As far as the the other stuff goes, just unscrew them, mount the tray and reinstall the purge solenoid as close to the oem location and re route the hoses under/around the tray.

I got the tray for a steal for my 3rd Gen and jumped on it, bought a Zinger isolator but my CAI is in the way. I pulled my wires for my 2nd winch (portable) from the back bumper to a drain hole in the bed and have my 2nd battery running off them tucked under my toolbox (yeah, I know).
Been meaning to take my hood off and cut a hole under the scoop and re-run my CAI under there for a while now which will free up that passenger side for the battery tray but ain't got motivated to take the damn hood off yet...
