oh. ok.

a couple years ago it looked like this.

that's the picture that impresses people, but with the 40's and one tons, it was too big. so i took it down quite a bit and put a much smaller set of 3/4 ton axles and 37's on it.

this is what it looks like now.

and this was right after i put the v8 in a while back.

i can't wait to get a 5 speed in it again. that automatic sucks up so much power.

i'm hoping to have my total project cost less than $1500. including the above list i'm 1200 in. but i will still need the special $$ gear oil, fly wheel bolts, and i have to make a cross member and a shifter.

i ordered that one i listed above from auto zone. but it never shipped. so i cancelled it.
then tried napa. they didn't show any combination in any truck featuring a 5.9 with a manual transmission. but they were able to find out through an external website that AC delco makes all of these fly wheels and suggested i try to find an ACDelco dealer. i couldn't find one that would order it for me. so i tried the dealership. they said they could get it, but it was $600. i said no thanks.

finally on a whim, i went to crappy advance auto parts. they had 8 at the local warehouse. and because i went to autozone first they gave me $20 off to earn me as a customer for future sales.

so i finally found it for $126.
