OK, Bigblue. Got the photo thing down. Like Stewie pointed out, there is pretty good wear in that chain. When you get to the point where you can, change that puppy out. It will make a difference in the way it runs. I also added the chain tensioner. Others didn't. Don't know if it will make any difference down the road, but I wnated to install. It will be your preference (and budget).

yea deff need to change that out im pissed i couldnt this time i had car quest order it but it never came in than by the time it came to put everything back together i had to put the money else where but thats cool yea i took a video of the play in the chain im going to post all my pics now the left side was pretty bad... but when can you do i got kids that need diapers and bills to be payed. when the time comes i will deffinately change that and im sure i can do it in 1/3 of the time just got to get my hands on a nice fan clutch wrench...

Almost 3 years ago when I still had my Blazer I put a new timing chain and gear's on it, had some issue's with the water pump gasket, antifreeze all over the ground, still to this day, there is NO grass in that spot.

If only antifreeze killed Red Ants....I wonder.....

big blue your leak was in the exact same spot as mine.sure was a pain to get to huh?lol
