where is this Mess coming from: Coolant Leak.
i tryed to spray it with that wrench grease stuff but didnt work i tryed the hammer too to tap shock it into getting past the breaking point.. i second the chance to buy new tools for my vehicle but ive spent two enough money this weekend with double rolling timing chain and hoses and gasket kit and water pump oh i did however pick up a O2 socket too that was useful
.... funny story when i was taking off the alternator i had to disconnect the a/c lines that pass over it (i didnt want to bend them) well i didnt know what they were and as i started to undo the bolt it started hissing at me and i was all panicked to tighten them back up...than i found out what it was.. all though i didnt even finish the tear down today im pretty happy with it all and confident i can wrap it up tomorrow

I removed the A/C compressor first..... just unbolt it, and set it out of the way. (on the passenger side...) there is one bolt that is under the lines, which is a major pain, as I think they hold the axle in place too... they are LONG. No need to bend lines, or discharge the A/C.
I have my AC compressor moved over to the side and tied up over horns until I can get a friend to recover refrigerant and then tie in to new compressor. Stuff is about $1.00 and ounce, and it takes about 32 oz dry. If you are careful you won't kink the lines.
You will need to add some back in for the lost refrig, but it should not be too much. As it was still under pressure when you tightened it back up, no moisture would have gotten inside. Just do not out in too much. That is the most common problem when people put theri own in, they think more is better.

Be careful with that front/left (looking in from the front) bolt. It both holds the AC compressor and provides fire protection...

Those clips tend to get brittle as well. Clean it well, take your time and pull it slowly. I broke the tab on mine and use a tie wrap to hold it seccurely. If it looses, it will arc and loose connection.
