I have seen a few of such swaps.... really not such a bad idea. Trouble is, even as prevalent as their usage was, the 4BT motors are still hideously expensive.

That is true. And for only 120 HP stock, a $3000-$5000 4BT seems like its not worth it. But there is always a little hope if you just look. A junkyard from a bread/Frito-Lay truck can yield a good motor and possibly farms. I know of someone who has one laying around just not sure if he will sell it for a decent price...
