No, don't use RTV. If you already have the anaerobic stuff just use it.

What is the torque for the 5 sets of cap bolts my haynes and the instructions im following say 2 different things?

Even when it tells me one step, I still use three steps for that high of a value. Run 'em all in snug first. Then all to 25, then all to 60, then all to 85.

Thanks for the help, its all bolted up now I just have to install the oil pump, seal and pan.
