Check the resistance on all of your fuel injectors.

I believe the parts store can test the camshaft position sensor (it's called a pickup coil to them).

When my camshaft position sensor was on its way out the truck didn't want to start easily but I got a code for it.

well im off work for the rest of the week so i can work on the truck. the boss lady said to take some time off and get the truck running again. so ill get on that tomorow. heres my game plan:

-change the timing chain for S's & G's
-another set of plugs
-check the resistance of everything
-check for power everywhere that is supposed to have power
-put a test light on each cylinder plug wire, and a second one on each injector to verify fuel sync
-if that doesnt work the some thermite on top of the block should get the old girl to fire up again

edit some slightly good news is that if i cant get this old girl running by the weekend then my dad will be bringing me my old jeep(he has more time and money to give it the restoration it needs) up to shreveport and ill be driving that until i get the truck fixed. so no matter what i wont be stranded for much longer

I'd get my hands on some C4 if I were you. This way, after you find out it's something simple, you can blow up the truck and you.
