Beer is what led to the demise of my brother in law's rebuilt Hemi, we did all the work, beer apparently had too much influence, yeah, you see where this is going....

Motor is fixing to get shipped off for a full out rebuild.

Well I got home from work and unplugged all of the sensors that are monitored at startup except for the crank, cam, and ECT, as well as put my original PCM back in.then I removed the fuel pump relay, shot some ether down the TB, and attempted to start three truck. She kind of tried to fire which is better then it was before. So I then reinstalled the fuel relay and tried again. She tried to fire again and the tach even jumped to a hundred or so RPMs, but she didn't start. I then checked for spark again on both the #1 and 2 cylinders. Both showed weak spark(the same color as a dieing campfire). sound like a failing coil right? Also i'm getting a code 1282(accelerator pedal position sensor), I didn't think out truck had one of those. So now I have a new theroy. A weak spark from the coil coupled with to much fuel from a faulty ECT is what's keeping my truck from firing

Check the coils ohms to see is there within spec like I suggested back on the 1st page so you can rule that out.

I don't have an ohmmeter, but a few months ago I checked just for S's and G's and it was right at the limit for max ohms

My remflex gaskets await the stage 8 bolts which should land tomorrow.. I am set to pull the headers, have a discussion with two cali pre cats that live between the flanges and where the y used to be (which may not survive), a couple rolls of header wrap, a wideband sensor, and starting on Friday..

I gotta admit.. you're adventure has me worried.. not really, but... Maybe...

Just make sure you plug all your plug wires back in before you start your motor
