changed header gasket now no start

I think its flooded bad. A couple of things to try before the dealer. Pull a spark plug and see if it's wet, if so try the stuff below.
1 Remove the fuel pump relay in the pdb set the gas peddle @ wfo and try to start it, if it does fire it will be brief, then install the relay and try to start it.
2 If it's relay bad remove all the spark plugs, unplug the 12v wires from the ign coil, remove the fuel pump relay and spin that pig over, have someone watch for fuel coming out of the spark plug holes, once the gas has stopped coming out the hole reinstall everything and try to start the truck.
Edit: If it has been flooded that bad you need to change the motor oil soon as it will have gas in it, not good.

just a thought, i had trouble in the past with headers 'baking the starter' is your engine turning to slow and drawing to many amps? maybe now it finally quit.a weak battery or a battery with a dead cell,starter drawing to many amps might cause low voltage to the pcm?.not sure what else it could be.

I'd suggest you pull both VCs, and the cap, all plugs, and fuel system relay.
Turn the motor manually at the h/b bolt. Find TDC #1 using the H/B mark to the timing cover and the rotor. This assumes you've not pulled that rotor out at all. Only that you took cap off like you said.
Once you verify TDC #1 just simply like this you would also notice if turning the motor manually was w/o effort. It darn should be. If not, then there may be some physical obstruction.
Do this and report back.
I think we/I are all presuming you've got the header back on all good and tight and quad-checked your grounds again.

merc225 i am totally 100% thinking what you are thinking. I have seen vehicles that were flooded to the point of needing new plugs.
i would do what was said earlier about removing all the plugs, and turning off fuel spinning it over. Then I would let it sit for a few hours to let the chambers evaporate. Then put NEW plugs back in. I bet it starts right up.

Well I let it suit firabout an hour with the plugs removed and now it fellow like the motor wants to turn over if that makes any sense, but still wrong fire. Ultra anyone had any fresh ideas then i'm going to fyi the previous suggestion again, but this time let the motor sit overnight.

I hate suggesting this but if you really need the truck to run today give it a shot of ether. Please be careful using ether on a gas motor don't over do it. Of course put it all back together once more.

yes, i strongly urge you to get a set of new plugs and use them in the morning. Gap them to spec, and see if it starts. Worst case is you end up with an extra set of plugs, if thats not the problem.
Also be careful I was having a similar problem like this before on a 600hp sbc, the plugs were fouled, I didn't think I was getting spark, When i took the plugs out I was testing for fire (the old fashioned way, hooking up a plug, and resting it on the header), damn near killed myself. Big explosion, when it did spark and all that raw fuel was in the air, like merc225 was talking about.

I can get ether at any gas station up here, but we are in winter so its everywhere lol. I would give it one short shot of ether in the air cleaner tube or in the tb and then try to start it, the other way is to have the motor turning over as you spay a quick shot of ether into the air intake but then you will be adding fuel and ether at the same time which might not work. Notice the repeat of a" quick shot".
