350 swap
I was thinking about doing a sbc 350 swap into my 97 half ton ram. I know I will have to fab some motor mounts and stuff but will the 350 bolt up to my dodge nv3500? And could I do an efi live or Holley EFI system instead of a factory Chevy throttle body and computer?
I know This is the wrong place for this but I thought maybe somebody one here has tried or done this. My reasoning for this is it is a lot cheaper for parts and to build.

The forum gets confused on occasion....... What's really funny is, quoting the persons post below you.... and answering it.
I was considering doing an LSx swap...... grabbing engine, trans, and t-case from a donor, and dropping it into the dodge. Trouble is, most of the gauges, especially on the 98 and up trucks, get their cues from the PCM.... the GM unit won't have a clue about that.

No, you would have to get a different trans as well. Or, see if someone makes an adapter plate.

after a little bit of searching i think that some older 80s model chevys came with 350's and nv3500's i don't know if that helps but maybe you don't need an adapter and thats why you couldn't find one.
