Default front locker install where does the spring go

Ok when i ordered my locker from randy's they told me i had to get a spring kit well i did and i am not sure where it goes....anyone ever install a detroit in the center dissconnect dana 44

Spring kit????? What's it look like? I would suspect that it may have something to do with the cad, to help it disengage???

First I have heard of this....

ok i am working on this today....the springs are just 2 springs one is about 2 inches the other is about 2.5 inches...

Wouldn't a locker make street driving difficult because of how our trucks rise gauge the axles? I've always been warned against it

With the detroit in the front, the driveshaft and such will just turn all the time. Gas mileage may suffer a little bit, but, that's about it. Ideally, some flavor of selectable locker would be best.... but hey, I wouldn't argue with a detroit for the front.
