You can swap the 2 for a 4 wheel tail housing and it aint a lot of trouble. You will need a press that's pretty good size due to a 6-800 pd spring under the splined housing that the direct clutches spline over. Their under the snap ring that always breaks , which causes no reverse.
The other thing that must be changed is the output shaft that the drive line splines onto. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE SNAP RING W/O A PRESS. If you are still interested I can post a book and walk you thru it, I have been a trans builder for almost all of my life and was the lead builder at several of the largest , biggest grossing shops in & around Houston.
