Here's the info on the popular jeep 4.0/5.2/ 5.9 swap and where to find the injectors..the other benefit to the Chrysler 703 injectors is that they are 12ohm like our OEM injectors unlike the yellow and blue ones previously mentioned which seem to work fine but are 14-16ohm...

22# @ 43.5 PSI seems pretty high to me. I was running pig rich (8:1) with 24s (Rated@43.5 PSI). AND I was running a full MSD ignition.

I have always said that my injector swap had no pros until I had the fuel trimmed. I think his case is one of "I just spent this money and need to justify it with some pros."

Running too rich will turn your truck into an absolute DOG going up a hill.

stock injectors flow at 234cc at 3bar..(the stock 778 injector flows at 23.2 lbs at 49psi in 96-99 rams... they went smaller in 00-01) .703 flow at 238 at 3bar.... the pcm is supposed to be able to adjust flow up to 30%... the 703 injector is used in stock 2.5l dodge neons....the guys in the link above were just getting the injectors at the local junkyards? no big $$ spent unless I missed something?
here's more good reading on the topic
http://www.nagca.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41713

five0's specs for the stock 778 injectors appear to be wrong and possibly listed that way to sell his performance options which are higher flow and 14-16 ohms....I'm wondering if the ohms load is effecting the duty cycle of them and flow rate.... this could explain why many of the 14ohm injectors seem to run so rich and do not seem to be throttled down by the pcm?

yeah, my 24# inectors do not have a 30% compensation in duty cycle.

I think the FIC injectors for the didges that i listed are 12 ohm. Because he sells them at different part numbers than the other 19 lb genIII injectors. I would call to ask.

I won't deal with fiveo anymore.

See if you can get ahold of someone with a fuel synch. If you can retard your fuel synch by 2* you can probably get a bit more MPG. The advance that came from the factory was to allow the stream of unatomized fuel from the pencil injectors to hit the hot intake valve (closed) and help atomixe the fuel better.

Since you have 4 hole injectors, you don;t need the help of a hot valve.

Those gen IIIs are really sweet! If they had a 12 ohm 19lb injector then I would jump on them.

they are rated at 12ohm and very close to the factory injector flow levels... I would think close enough for the pcm to adjust duty cycle...especially since they are 12ohm like factory ones...
why 19lbs? werent the factory injectors for your year rated at like 22lbs at 43psi? (I know our trucks run at 49psi)

I plan on doing the advance calibration...Drew also suggested it to me...I will check results before and after (Hopefully, if this resolves my mis issue) I couldnt believe all the black sludge in the injector inlet screens...must be from the fuel line breaking down?

Why are you wanting 19lb injectors? werent the factory injectors for your year rated at like 22lbs at 43psi? (I know our trucks run at 49psi)

Probably more like 16 years of accumulation of stuff that get's past the fuel filter.
