I would like to build a stroker for it later so it may not be the best idea to put work into these axles but it would be about a year before I could do it and I have no power now. And the biggest junkyard out here has no 3/4 ton axles so I'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place...

I was slightly confused by one of your previous posts. I was under the impression that you were getting ready to drop a hot motor into the dodge, that's why I found it urgent to upgrade the axles. Seeing as you are not, as long as you stick to 35's you should be okay like everyone else. But I still think that you shouldn't bother building the 9 1/4 and D44. Hit up HeyYou

I found for the cost to go to Dana 60-80 diff's with all the goodys that I would run the cost was about $3500 to me this was just not worth it. Instead I am going to uni-mog portal diff's, they cost about $2500 each used with factory air lockers, they add 4" of lift and ground clearance, not cheap by any means but I think they are a much better investment than Dana's. The rear diff is ready for me to pick up and the front diff will be ready in May, if all goes well they will be installed in the fall. Might not be under the black truck but a 2nd gen none the less.

Example pix of portal diff's

So what I found in a quick search is that it'll be a little under $400 for the rear and around $230 for the front. 2 questions I seen another gear set for the 44 that said thick, what requires this option and somebody had said they've gone through a couple Detroit lockers, is there a better brand out there or do you just eat it when you break one and buy another?

Thanks for the advise, I really don't know much about performance on this truck

If my memory is right you need the thick cut for the front axle
